Washington Butler Born from Puyallup Washington State, became interested in arts as an infant. She sang in choirs, entered singing competitions and performed in both the local and high school theatre. She studied at the University of Southern California and relocated to Los Angeles where she played Belle the gorgeous and beast princess at Disneyland for about an entire year and a half. She dropped out of college focused on finding an agent for talent and started casting for roles in TV and film. Butler was initially put off by its sexual violence, but its character development and feminist angle helped to convince her. Butler played Jennifer Hills a writer who was victimized by a gang in a cabin. She is the character who seeks revenge against the perpetrators. Directed by Steven R. Monroe the film was released on October 8th, 2010. In November 2011, Butler and Estella Warren began filming the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca the Spanish island of Mallorca. The film was originally planned to be shot at Copenhagen Denmark, New York City and New York City as well. Butler was on screen in The Demented, a 2013 horror film with Michael Welch, Kayla Ewell and Michael Welch.

When she was a child she started appearing in television commercials. Ferland was four when she made her TV film debut with Mermaid. Ferland received an Emmy Award for her role in the Made-for-TV Film, which made her the youngest actor to get an Emmy Award. Ferland has, on top of the Emmy nomination, has also won in her career nearly a half dozen other awards. They include the Young Artist Award and a CAMIE Award.
